EuroVelo 13 “Iron Curtain Trail”

EuroVelo No. 13 The Iron Curtain Trail

experiencing the history of Europe’s division
For almost half a century, Europe was forcibly divided into East and West by the “Iron Curtain”, a border stretching from the Barents Sea to the Black Sea. The European cycle track Iron Curtain Trail invites people to retrace and experience this important part of the continent’s history.

This is an idea of Michael Cramer, Member of the European Parliament.

Web page (in GERMAN and English):

In Lithuania it fits together with the “Seacoast cycle trail” (LT5)
in Estonia it fits together with the National Route Nr. 1 (EE1)
in Latvia I don’t know yet, and couldn’t find on the web page…
